This book was published in Spanish in April 2025, and the Armenian translation was published in March 2026, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the government of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. This book is a study of the fact that Uruguay was the first in the world to recognize the Armenian Genocide in April 1965, with Law No. 13.326. Uruguay adopted a law that stands by human rights and acknowledges the importance of this event. The book was published with the recommendation of the scientific committee of the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of the University of the Republic of Uruguay and the Faculty of History of Yerevan State University.
