The basin of Lake Sevan is rich in archaeological monuments: settlements, fortresses, tombs, rock paintings, dragon monuments, lithographic inscriptions. Their research began as early as the 19th century, and excavations were carried out from the beginning of the 20th century. Research shows the important role played by the region in the cultural development of the Armenian Highlands. This collection is dedicated to summarizing those works and presents the materials of the exhibition and conference of the same name.
