The author believs that the way of the chosen transcriptions will reveal to the listeners the world of thoughts and feelings of Armenian people so powerfully expressed in Komitas’ songs. The present collection comprises various music pieces different in character and complexity of performance. They can be performed both selectively and in cyclical order. The pieces of the present collection are supposed to be used in academic repertoire as well as in concert practice.
